Key Major African Mobile Markets: Future Growth Prospects

The population in the African continent was approximately 1.22 billion people in mid-2017. About 438 million of them live in the major markets covered in these pages (Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa and Tunisia). For the remaining 782 million, there are a number of other significant mobile markets in the region, as listed in Table 1 below.
