Mr Leong will also take on the role of SingTel’s Vice President of Consumer Products, overseeing the development of new services for SingTel’s fixed-line, mobile and broadband businesses. He takes over the duties from Mr Hui Weng Cheong, who will leave for Thailand to assume the position of Deputy President in Advanced Info Services (AIS), SingTel’s regional mobile associate. Mr Leong joined SingTel in 1997 and has served in various management positions as Head of SingNet and Group Director of Human Resource. He spent the last five years in SingTel’s regional mobile associate companies: two years in AIS and three years in Telkomsel, Indonesia.
