Press Release:

Unity Wireless Wins Bi-Annual Bid to Supply China’s ZTE Corp.

Press Release
News Article  October 2006

Unity Wireless Corporation, a developer of wireless systems and coverage-enhancement solutions, has been informed by China’s ZTE Corporation that Unity Wireless has again been awarded a significant percentage of ZTE’s power amplifier requirement used in three models of that customer’s wireless network base stations as part of a bi-annual bidding and qualification process.

Ilan Kenig, President and CEO of Unity Wireless commented, "Now in its 5th year, we are proud of the supportive partnership we have made with ZTE which we believe represents the strong foundation we have laid in China. As previously announced, we are expanding our presence in China with our manufacturing facility as well as customer support and regional service center based in Shenzhen. With a strong foundation in place, and the coming release of 3G licenses in China, we believe that Unity Wireless is well positioned to increase its level of business in the region."
